Prometheus

That's the name the boat goes by; the guy in it is called Ryan. This experimental log boat was built at Butser Ancient Farm using Bronze Age tools and fire and was launched at Petersfield Heath this weekend as part of its Secrets of the Heath event. Great to see some archaeology at the Heath, a place I've been visiting since childhood and which hosts a remarkable 30 Bronze Age barrows.
