Homeward bound

A long day, but actually a very smooth journey home. The children were (mostly) very well behaved, which was impressive given we ended up being at the airport 5 hours before our flight left.

One of the children slept for much of the flight. The other one chatted. Those of you that know us can probably work out which was which... and it was my turn to sit next to him this time! Still, his enthusiasm and wonder were infectious.

I've always loved the views from aeroplanes - especially the new perspective of the clouds - and being able to share the experience with my children is a real joy and privilege.
