The Morning After...

The morning after the night before and who would have thought that 30,000 Scotsmen would have left Wembley after the match disappointed not to have defeated or at least drawn with England.

A match in which England were expected to win by at least two to three goals Scotland actually led twice at the home of English football but finally ran out of steam late on as England claimed a 3-2 victory.

Scotland fans have a reputation and sometimes me included for still celebrating after a defeat but somehow last nights defeat felt different...England were there for the taking in an entertaining friendly, Scotland put in a very good effort and oh how we all celebrated Kenny Miller's goal (one he richly deserved not only on the night but for years of effort in a Scotland shirt)...A defeat Yes, but we could walk out of Wembley and make our way out of all corners of London back to Scotland with our heads held high.
