Lara beach

We drove up to Lara beach on the Akamas Peninsula this afternoon, it is a bit of a drive and a bumpy old road to get there, but well worth it in my opinion, as the beach is beautiful and sandy, and the sea is really warm here. This area is famous for its turtles, and there were lots of protected nests dotted around the beach. Some must have hatched very recently, as we could see eggs shells still in them. This is one of my favourite parts of the island.
