will miss this view

Just arrived home and the only photo I have taken today was first thing this morning from the balcony before we started packing. Never mind, it is a view worthy of a blip and we will miss it. A lovely holiday, great fun and many laughs.

On arriving home we were faced with a dead wood pigeon on the patio and a very detailed impression of where he hit our bedroom window. We have had so many birds die this way this year, it's such a shame, is there any way of avoiding it?
