Small Tortoiseshell.

This is the only species of Vanessid butterfly that regularly visits our garden which I haven't already blipped this year.

I might not get another opportunity this season, so here it is.

The purple colouration on the rear of its abdomen, if you can see it, must be a reflection off something as it does not appear on other shots I took.
