I went back down to the river at lunchtime to see if, yet again, I could capture a kingfisher. As this blip shows, I was unsuccessful!!!

I still learning my shutter speeds, ISO etc and wonder if this capture would have been better with a higher speed? Suggestions, advice and constructive criticism welcome.

Bingo update:- She is well and visiting mostly during the night or very early morning. As and when she obliges me with her presence at a reasonable hour, I will endeavour to grab a shot of her.
