New view

I've become fascinated by paths. How they twist, how they change, how they reveal things. Walking into the hills around the village puts me in a different world, and when I come back it's a shock to see cars and automatic gates and guard dogs. But around every bend on a path is a different world, as different as my world view is to my neighbour's. This path suddenly gave me a new view of the main road to the village - the line of plane trees in the middle distance. If I lived up there, my whole appreciation of the village would be altered.
Today's walk was my first in new walking boots, and so far they're a big improvement.
PS - I'd like to thank everybody who gave me stars and favourites for a recent sunset picture. I'm new to all this and I haven't been hearting or favouriting anybody in return, but if I like something, I'll leave a comment and say so.
