Living under dark southern skies

Another glorious dark night in the valley meant I had the chance to step outside and capture the grandeur of the sky at night.

I left one light on inside the house to create that warm glow and that lived-in feeling.

It's been a busy weekend. Thanks to everyone for commenting on yesterday's cheetah image, it was much appreciated.

I think it might be time for bed. Well, after the British Motorcycle Grand Prix of course... A certain young Spaniard, Marc Marquez, dislocated his shoulder in the morning warm up, but had it popped back in and is going to ride in the race in a bid to defend his title lead. Now that's gutsy. Makes me feel a bit pathetic about my knee really!!
