The ground becomes much more interesting when it's raining; nasty dirty gritty surfaces are suddenly covered with nice specular highlights. Cobbles go all shiny and this particular type of yellow-line paint glows slightly. Luckily it was nice and quiet down Atholl Cresent Lane so there was no-one around who might make me think they might think I was a bit weird crouching over a puddle to shield my camera from the rain.
