Day off....

Well nearly, managed to get all my Parish work done yesterday so today was free for enjoying a walk with Ted and a friend with her dog.

Alas not to be, get a call first thing to say that roof tiles were being removed from the local (empty and slightly derelict) pub and the 'contractors' had mentioned it would be pulled down in the next few days. Long story short.... they were in fact stealing the tiles so the Police were informed but they had, unsurprisingly, already disappeared!!

Anyway I managed to pick my friend up only a few minutes late and we enjoyed a walk in a new part of the County and a lunch is this mighty fine pub! I think a return visit is likely at some point! We had a really good natter which did us both good !!
