Mr Zumba
Spent a lot of today working again, trying to get ready for school on Monday. Every time I get my head into a task, I then come up with something else that would be useful as a spin-off to the thing I am doing.
Bloody idiot.
Anyway, I broke from work at 4pm to head over to Rawtenstall to photograph Mr Zumba (You have met him before, but in a different guise) leading a 3 hour Zumba marathon in order to raise funds for Rossendale Hospice.
Yes, 3 hours of Zumba.
I tell you what, it was fantastic to watch him and his group of ladies (and one gent) dancing for 3 hours. I was knackered just watching them so they must be exhausted beyond belief.
What struck me most - they LOVED it. They smiled, laughed, joked and clearly love their instructor. Charisma, energy, sense of humour and a smile that would melt even the coldest of souls.
So, well done to all of you - I really hope that you have raised a big stack of cash for the hospice. Photos will be with you soon :-)
(Yes, I have been working again since I got home - it has taken that long for the photos to import that I have managed to do two other work tasks whilst waiting. Then sorted the initial 1500 photos down to 300. Tomorrow, I edit. Then work, go to a christening, work again and hopefully will be so tired I will sleep tomorrow night. I can hope).
