High on the hill was a group of Geordies

Via Ferrata day. The hairpins on the way up nearly scared off some people and the scree slope to the start defiantly scared off Em, so seven of us attached ourselves to the wire and set off.

I went first but Tom was on my heels the whole way up. He was doing a pretty good job of hiding the fact he was scared senseless by hauling himself up the wire ultra fast without stopping and talking random gibberish. Amusing. I took note just incase someone made me do a horrible scary mountain bike ride later in the week.

It was a pretty good route. I couldn't find a grade anywhere but I'd say exposed but without any too technical moves. Not too many ladders either which is always a good thing :-) There was a good snow patch at the top for the obligatory holiday snowman!

Back to the pools in the afternoon for more jumping in.
