A Fortunate Mistake
Went up to Leamington Spa to go to a photography shop. It was a photography and knitting supplies shop, not obvious bedfellows. We then headed on to Coventry for Ikea to pick up a few extra bits for Oliver's room.
Whilst travelling back, we went wrong somewhere and ended up on the outskirts of Coventry Airport, so we went to the Midlands Air Museum. Oliver and I had a good look around, with Oliver having a sit in a Meteor cockpit, plus the Vulcan they have had an open cockpit, which we climbed up the ladder to the somewhat cramped cockpit for the 5 crew that manned these during the cold war, and famously during their bombing run on the Falkland Islands back in 1982.
