But I'm partial to herons. Plus his presence indicates that the River Crane is recovering from a bad pollution incident a few years ago, courtesy of ThamesWater (it was apparently a choice between filling the river with sewage or having the toilets back up at Heathrow..)

Blipped on the way to the start of Crane Park Parkrun. We saw B and his dog, Stanley. B, Stanley, Houblon and at least 2 people pushing buggies were faster than me, but 27.58 isn't my slowest time this year and there were no protests from the neck, so I have no complaints :-)
