A morning cycle up and over the Tak Me Doon road, brutal climbing at points and the loop around Carron Valley took the wind out my sails....a tough prequel to next weekends Pedal to Scotland 110mile sportive.

We lounged around and then took Amélie out to Nardini's, Byres Road for some ice cream. It was great fun.

Home for wine, pizza & a movie.
