A bob of seals

Day 239

Grumpster returned this morning and didn't do one until 4pm.

Still this particular mother really enjoyed our boat trip around Ramsey Island. We saw:

- the life boat being winched back up to its house (is that the right name for it?)
- atlantic grey seals ...lots of seals from mum's feeding their pups to big fat bull seals basking in the sun;
- Seabirds guillemots, oyster catchers and a chattering of choughs
- Caves and rocks including a formation in the cliff side that looks like an elephant.

Cannot recommend highly enough how worthwhile the boat trip is, and looking forward to spring when the birds are in full swing.

Took lots of great photos but settled on this one as the closer up seal ones didn't comes out that well

Note to self I need a proper big paparazzi camera next time
