Goosle Fledgling: Eye Patches!
Patchier in large ("L").
Today has been very up and down.
I went to visit the Goosles first thing which was lovely but also rather disheartening: the little Goosle has this week done a pretty impressive job of developing eye-patches, so is looking a lot more grown up even though it is still rather flimsy and little compared to its parents. The bad news is that Mr's hook is not only still there, but seems to be affecting his face more as that side is now rather swollen. I've put a picture up which shows him looking all handsome but with the hook in place by his mouth, but the angle doesn't accentuate the swelling: those photos are rather upsetting.
This afternoon was ace though: I met up with Helwild after she visited the NHM to see the Sebastião Salgado exhibition, and we had a lovely lunch and a natter, and then we went for an amble in the V&A which was very jolly. I so enjoyed chatting about life and blip and cameras, and it was fun to explore the V&A with cameras in hand(s) and good-humoured company. What a wonderful blipmeet; I had such fun. Thank you Helwild :-)
Meh, but the sad news this evening was a text from Ann to say that although she (kindly) visited the Goosles twice today, she'd been unable to get close enough to attempt a grab on Mr., and Jurgen is away for a fortnight so won't be able to assist this time either. I hope we can link up tomorrow for a team effort, but it is rather disheartening that it is proving so hard to catch him when his cheek is getting worse. Poor Mr. :-(
p.s. It is Mrs. standing being the fledgling in my blip.
