Love at first sight.......

Being a Saturday it was time to go off to visit dad again and of course this included a trip round the Cheltenham charity shops (nothing bought), the Lydney charity shops (nothing bought) and the Gloucester charity shops (a sonic screwdriver pen bought). Also included was a visit to Fab & Faded - my favourite antique emporium/fleamarket in Gloucester and there was absolutely no way this chap was going to be left on the shelf.

I'd seen various other bits and bobs on my travels - quite nice stuff but unacceptable prices. However the second I spotted this chimp there was absolutely no question about his coming home with me :)

He's a Dean - no earlier than 1965 and has a bit of a flattened nose - but I don't care :)
