G.A.P.
This is my Aunty Peggy but my children, L.O.H. ,Soloh, GoateeBooknerd and Snow Goose Blues all refer to her as GAP (Great Aunt Peg) She is 94 years young and moved to Scotland in the year 2000. Her church in Muir of Ord asked people to knit teddies for children in Malawi, so GAP started straight away. She has knitted hundreds of teddies which are regularly sent to the hospital in Malawi. She has been through the war living in London, a pub landlady in Deptford, a crofter in Cornwall, then retired to Derbyshire, before moving here. A very interesting and charming lady.
Here she is in action knitting the latest teddy.
