Precision Bombing

The precision bomb aiming position in the Avro Vulcan nose section of XM569 at the JET AGE MUSEUM.

People are amazed when they come up that crew ladder to find the sort of technology being installed into the Vulcan is similar to that used in the Avro Lancaster. Even the Radar (H2S) that the 'Navigator Radar' uses was in the Lancaster. Then again it's not so surprising when you consider there was only 11 years between the first flight of the Lancaster and the Vulcan.
