Boston Explorations
The Old North Church on a beautiful day. It was about half way through our Freedom Trail adventure, and I was happily playing tourist in this wonderful city. Soon after we stopped at Copp's Hill burial ground, where I got altogether too excited on finding the Mather tomb. I just love being able to see the headstone of a person who I've spent the last 4 years of my life studying.
Other famous graves discovered: John Winthrop, John Cotton, John Davenport and John Oxenbridge. Amongst others that mean less to me since they came much later in my historical period of study.
Anyway. All very exciting, gorgeous day, magical history.
