Asylum Seeker March

This morning my wife and I joined in a locally held march to protest at the way asylum seekers are being treated in detention centres and also how they have been politicised by the two major parties in the current election campaign. The attendance was very good considering the limited publicity and the fact that it was a local event.

The 'Keep Left' sign is somewhat significant as our two major parties both have right wing leanings,especially when it comes to asylum seekers.
