"The White Geranium"...

...They're a pretty flower, the White Geranium - especially if they're double like this one featured here from our garden..

...We brought it with us to our new home - our neighbour Fred gave us a cutting to bring - and we brought some other cuttings of lovely colored geraniums, from our own garden..really so bright and as red as stop lights, colors of the rainbow almost, all very different...

... During the time we had our plants stored waiting to shift into this place far away - our other geraniums of beautiful colors secretly turned into Fred's White Geraniums...we had Freds everywhere..Fred was not popular for a while..

...Heavens, I only wanted 1 white geranium Fred I said... The rest of the cuttings when planted out had changed into its own color of White with a hint of whatever color it once was.. and for a while I was rather upset about that as we'd lost our own gorgeous assortment of brilliant geraniums, as they were then all sadly...Fred White..

...You may think that's rather unusual... I did too, and then, when we bought some new readily established colored geraniums here, and planted those alongside of the white cuttings, to see what would happen- for some reason Fred's White has now been dominated by the new colors - in other words, the tables were turned..and so here we have - the last of Fred's White Geranium, which is really now slightly Pink, in fact if you look at it carefully, it's slightly Green as well, and you'll see another little flower has grown from the flower itself creating a twin bloom..

...Interesting, aren't they Geraniums..they sort of have a mind of their own I thought..I must tell Fred about that some time..

ps: I must say thankyou to all of the kind blippers who stopped by to look at my blip 2 days ago - of the River View - I received a little message yesterday to tell me it had 'hit the Spotlight' page (I hope the selectors didn't feel sorry for me for getting tangled up in the bushes and all I thought, for a moment) - I'm not sure how long it stayed there but I did see it viewers, I did see it there..and I thank you kindly..
