Play ball!

Volleyball, to be precise.

We're on a short road trip to catch our youngest daughter's first tournament of the season. This will be her last season, as she graduates this spring. She's pictured here during warm up before the game, as this is the only time I could get close enough for what I wanted.

Both our daughters played division 1 sports in university and the regiment is insane -- from my perspective. Jess has practice from 6:15-9:30am every day, followed by one hour of "lifting" in the gym. Then classes and homework for the rest of the day, and of course, games and travel all over the country.

You need to have iron discipline to make it as a student athlete and I'm proud to say that she excels academically as well :) But I'll be glad when this is over and she can have a 'normal' life rhythm...
