"No One Taught Me How To Lick It"

The transformation is finally complete.

Solid practice today. We ran a fartlek and ended up totaling about 6 miles.

I finally took a legitimate ice bath at my house today. Woooooooooooooooo

I drove all the way out to Malverne to pick up Pete and take us to the mall to meet up with Sparky, Justin, and Timmy. We ate there and looked at some fun toys before heading to Timmy's. I picked up Joe on the way and we all just chilled at Timmy's, playing ping pong and soccer. While we were eating ice cream, we learned that Joe has been biting his ice cream all these years "because no one taught [him] how to lick it." Needless to say, we all lost is upon hearing this.

I forced Sparky to come with me to Malverne this time to take Pete home. We met Pete's mom, and she is a sweetheart. My mom should take a lesson or nine billion lessons from her.

Took Sparky home, got needlessly yelled at by my mother, and now it's time for bed.
