Autumn Leaf

When I think of brittle, one of the first things that comes to mind is brittle leaves. Our Japanese Ornamental Crabapple tree is just starting to change color. The leaves are still on the tree, so are not yet brittle. However, soon we will hear the crunchy sound of footsteps on fallen leaves.
