Stories We Tell

This is a wonderful documentary by Canadian actress and filmmaker Sarah Polley. A perfect evening for be tonight after last night, as humour and empathy and sensitivity are here in abundance. It's all about her discovery that the man who raised her is not her biological father and the lost of this discovery on the people involved and close to those involved. Everyone has a slightly different recollection or take on events. Great coast from my friend Bertie - we enjoyed discussing the film and lots if other stuff later. It was a mild evening so we sat outside but I was having far too much fun to take a picture of the lovely riverside views so its a boring blip, sorry!
