From people who knew how to build

Stoke-on-Trent railway station. Opened in 1848 and built in a style, I learned today, known as ‘robust Jacobean manor-house’. I'm not convinced by that but I guess it's the windows. What caught my eye though, was the sunlight turning the whole thing into a Tudor timber-framed building.
