Moonshot

Today's photograph was taken at 1.39am this morning.
Yesterday's moonshot was taken at about 9.30 pm.Tuesday moon

It's not a trick shot it's the actual image. Cropped as much as I can to still get some decent detail.

I took this photograph on manual settings and set the D300 at maximum sharpness and highest definition.
I started taking the shots at about 9.15 last night and finished at about 2.30 this morning.
As the moon got higher in the sky the haze was dramatically reduced from earlier in the evening and the brownish color from the natural light when the moon was very low in the sky was completely gone.



I hope you enjoy them both. It was fun but now I'm off for a nap !!!
