Wild and Windy

Very windy this morning. We headed to the beach and as you can see the sand was being driven across it. Also the little waves were almost being blown back on themselves (but look at the colour of that sea.)
We talked to a couple with their dog who had been watching an otter by the rocks. Sadly there was no sign of it when we got there.

We got the lunchtime school run bus back to Ullapool, a 10 min walk up the road and a wait at the top, and of course it rained for the first time - horizontal. We got wet through.

Picked up the car in a bright and breezy Ullapool which didn't appear to have had any rain but very windy again as you can see from the bunting.

Treated ourselves to a bowl of Cullen Skink at the Ferry Boat Inn to dry out before returning.

We are now having our traditional Friday night meal at the Am Fauran Bar in Alt'andhu. Over faced as usual we have had a great week despite the tribulations!
