The Tynemouth Lodge Hotel.

This building has been in use as a public house and hotel since 1799. Meals for prisoners were prepared in the cellar kitchens of this hotel and carried through to the inmates of the Tynemouth House of Correction and Justice Room next door. No doubt they always had plenty of customers waiting for their meals.
A very BIG THANK YOU to everyone who commented on my 365th blip yesterday. I was delighted that so many people found the time to wish me well.
