Our first day in Bangkok:
taxi journey from hell stuck in traffic for 90 minutes for a journey of a few miles
supped some amazing cocktails in bar on 52nd floor of a hotel
visited Patpong (seedy!)
stumbled across the Bangkok Beatles playing in an Irish bar
supped a couple of beers in Patpong (not in an Irish bar)
hair raising Tuk Tuk ride back to hotel
scoffed some delicious curries - Friday night is curry night!
