The passage of time

Ruined Chapel at the rear of Kinneil House, Bo'ness

I've walked past this set of ruins most days since I got a dog. The area is filled with wildflowers and markers of the Roman presence from history. Despite the local youths using it as a drinking area, there is a certain beauty to the area, with the random layout of graves and evidence of nature seeking to reclaim what was once theirs.
