Village festival

In our part of the town at Lauritsala there was opening ceremony of From Villages To Manor weekend happening. In addition of this local male choir Kaukaan Laulumiehet there were performing local brass orchesta and of course speeches were held. In opening ceremony there were also rewarded winners of youth photo competition "My Lauritsala". The youngest winner was 6 years old and the oldest 16. Also exhibition of those photos is arranged at the same.

During weekend there will be country market square, drama acts around the area of Lauritsala Manor. Evening club, and many other acts.

It's really nice that in our area there are so much voluntary habitants taking part of all these happenings and doing things together for common good.
