Poetree

Edinburgh's mystery book sculptures works feature as a permanent exhibition within the Scottish Poetry Library. They received the first in the series called Poetree in March 2011. These objects of beauty were delivered to a range of venues across the city in a quiet but profound demonstration against the closure of libraries.

They are still appearing at relevant locations and were featured at the book festival this year. I had a meeting today with the Director of the Scottish Poetry Library who told me the story in more detail and showed me a lovely book they had produced with the images and words.
