Old Fashioned Marigold with Visitor

Got up this morning & went to the NOC in Oxford to see Denos & finally get my boots. Unfortunately they were not quite right so have gone back to the maker for final tweaking, disappointing but I guess I can wait another couple of weeks.

On the way back we called at Asda to get a few odds & ends.

Received my final pay from my former employer and a letter thanking me for everything I had done over the years; actually I got the payslip but not the letter....no I'm not bitter...!

Carol went to see her Mum this pm who is still suffering with a lot of pain in her knee. Currently she will stay in residential care rather than going into hospital which is a relief.

Lovely warm day with a some blustery wind..
