Lovely camp!!!

I woke up with sadness that today was our last day, this has been a superb trip. also woke up with a touch of a hangover that I am putting down to a late night.

We walked to the Bluebell Railway today. First bit of the walk was great through the woods, as pictured here. The rest was quite dull on fields and roads. But an ice cream at the end of it made it all ok. And the children found the computer thing in the train museum (look!! Education and excursions all in one!!!) which made them all feel more happy.

Back to camp to make a curry plus assorted meals for the children. I have been handing Daisy and Amelia a variety of things to cook on sticks over the fire (frankfurters, cheesy pitta breads, bacon rashers). It's the way forward to feed children, I swear. Pudding is obvs more marshmallows.

Home tomorrow. These are my last days off before Christmas now unless I can squeeze something in at half term. I have decided I am going to spend a bit if time before Monday dusting down my CV though....
