Delgatie Castle
We popped to the next town to us for a bit of shopping and
took Dino for a walk round the above estate, a nice walk thru
woodland passing a Trout Lake you have to pay to fish here.
Delgatie Castle was built round about 1049 & rebuilt in the
16th century, it has a Turnpike Stair with 97 treads which links
to the 8 floors, the stairs are reputed to be the widest in Scotland
measuring over 5ft across. It also has the Lairds Kitchen which
has won awards, did I get cake....NO :-( It was to hot to leave
Dino in the car... Lovely weather again, hope your all having good day
I had more close ups but i wanted you to see how lush it is up here.
good day. Large is ok
