Around Lac St Jean

Day 4 - today we biked about 35 miles. For some it may not seem like a lot, but for us flat landers from the Carolina coast, the hills and wind make for, at times, strenuous work. Today we rode along the lake, on bike trails, rural roads, through small towns and one stretch on a busy highway. We stopped in Roberville for gelato and are staying the night in Chambord. Tomorrow we return to Alma before driving to Quebec City.

This morning we rode by a large group of auto dealerships, most of which had striking mechanics sitting with their union placards in front of each business. These two men were willing to have their picture taken. I hope they are successful in their efforts.
