Purple and Blue

A day of sunshine and cloud. I went for a walk at our local nature reserve in the hope of blipping a dragonfly but despite seeing quite a few they were far too skittish to get a good shot! These purple flowers/weeds are growing in abundance around the lake and looked lovely against the blue sky!

Gav has taken Lucy back to York uni....when we went of Monday the idea was to familiarise ourself with it's location in relation to the city and to have a drive around the campus. Today is an organised open day with campus tours, talks and accommodation viewing. I think it's definitely going to be one her 5 choices!

I'm going to eat my lunch in the garden....need to make the most of this fabulous weather....then it's ironing and taking Rob to football training!
