Kilt Rock
Our second day. Weather not so great and a strong headwind. The scenery is still spectacular if not a bit hazy. The Mealt falls drop 170 feet straight into the sea of Raasay Sound. The cliffs are made of vertical basalt columns which a little further north at Kilt Rock resemble the pleats of the traditional Scottish kilt. Lovely to see it from this angle for a change.
