Desert Squirrel

Estuary

Still a few southerly showers about, but we escaped them on our morning walk. I chose this image today from the small number in early morning light. This is a view of the estuary of the Avon/Heathcote Rivers from Mt Pleasant Road.

PS I'm sorry I've had to cut right back on subscriptions and comments recently. I had to decide between time spent photographing, and time spent commenting. I do look at all the images put up by people in my remaining subscriptions, and when I have time, as many others of you as possible.

We are about to move out of our house so that earthquake repairs can finally be completed, eighteen months after we expected. This is exciting, but keeping us very busy. Many other people have been experiencing far worse effects of the earthquakes than us, but the whole process has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, especially for those of us in the eastern suburbs. Not sure that we'll have much in the way of internet access for a while, either, but I do look at all your images as often as I can.

I'll hopefully be back into accumulating more subscriptions, and doing more commenting when we're back home again.
