Stockbridge Down
This evening was the final 'evening out' for the camera club before term starts again next week. I'd organised a trip out to Stockbridge Down, a pleasant and quiet NT site / nature reserve.
We were treated to a stunning sunset. There were also some cows with inquisitive young calves in the field - so inquisitive that one of them licked the front of the lens... urgh! I got a few good shots before the slightly less friendly mother came over and made her displeasure known.
The middle calf was only about a foot away from the camera - this lens I'm borrowing is wonderfully wide!
