Street bluebird

There's a new kid in town, to serve the ageing population.

[ been told that this is not a clear description. Try again: two guys, with the aid of a van for transport and standing on, are putting up a sign above what is to be the new offices of the Bluebird Care Agency in Stroud's Nelson Street. They are doing it after shop-opning hours, for safety reasons.]

Note that this is the side of a 1930s building, the old Co-op, which I have blipped elsewhere.

Caught this on the way home from having my hair cut and giving blood. Apologies to the guy on the van,who is apparently camera shy. I caught him before he had a chance to blush. Today was in all a delightfully simple day, marred only by my getting grapefruit body oil in my eyes. Yes, I know, I'm an aromatherapist...

Courgette and blue cheese soup for supper tonight, cooked by you-know-who. Made enough to freeze, too, so we shall taste summer in the depths of winter.
