A Day to Celebrate?

The Co-Op in Banchory High Street was all dressed up for the day today, to celebrate its reopening after the works that BigN captured here a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure why they chose today for the dressing up - it's actually been open for several days already in its new form.

As things turned out, it was a little ironic to see this today, after hearing Robert Peston on BBC Radio 4's flagship Today Programme this morning talking about the financial troubles facing the Co-Op Bank (and, indirectly, the Co-Op Group as a whole.
