Bear Territory

Headed into town this morning for a theatre trip with the kids, my sister-in-law and nephew to see a stage production of, "We're Going on a Bear Hunt." Good fun and enjoyed by all. Especially once Will (2yo nephew) had arrived and the kids had stopped having to cover up their embarrassment at being the oldest kids there with hilarious overloud conversations, such as "Remind me mom, how old is our little cousin Will who we are meeting to take to the show." Good to know their egos are intact even when I point out how little attention anyone is paying them.

Afternoon for me of trying to knock the house / unpacking into some sort of shape after ignoring it all for two days of working. Must have made some progress but it's hard to see yet.

Afternoon for the kids of play dates, watching telly and playing on the Wii. And they reckon grown-ups have the better deal because we get to stay up as late as we want.

And tonight we are using the time wisely with an evening treat starting the final 8 episodes of Breaking Bad. Am a little apprehensive about starting when there are only 3 available but will be a good challenge in patience for us.
