A Woodpecker- Tree Art

Well back from the west coast and this morning into chores, fitting sealant in the bathroom round sink and bath and shower. All completed successfully so we decided on a walk at Knockfarrel by Strathpeffer through the woods and moorland. On our way we came upon all manner of Woodcarvings, these are the sort made with Chainsaws. It is quite an art to be able to start with a block of wood or a tree trunk and produce all manner of things. People, animals, birds and lots of other things. I was particularly taken by this Woodpecker. Good for a blip. The walk was nice too!
