Nissan huts, Ta 'Qali, Malta
Visited the Malta craft village located on the site of an abandoned World War 2 airfield. Many of the old Nissen huts have been converted into craft studios and shops, selling glass , jewellery, pottery made on the premises. This avenue didn't have any shops open and I think must look very similar to how it would have done in the 40's.
It was a very strange place in the middle of nowhere ( well almost, nowhere is more than half an hour away in Malta). Actually it's very close to Mdina, the old capital of Malta. It was very quite and felt like stepping back in time which is why I chose to use the sepia filter.
