Common Blue

Today's the day ........................ for a touch of class

Widespread in Britain even as far north as Orkney and the most frequently found Blue, it may well be. Common - it most certainly is not.

If you are not instantly captivated by the beautiful, most definitely upper class iridescent lilac blue (with a thin black border and whitish fringe) of the uppersides of its wings - you will be when they close. In perfect colour co-ordination with the blue is a brown, white and black creation, highlighted with a daring splash of Tuscan orange.
